Originally trained in salsa, bachata, and tango, Ami discovered Kizomba through its music — and was instantly captivated by the subtlety of connection, musicality, and creativity that the dance offered.

She began her Urban Kiz journey in Japan in 2017, and just two years later started teaching. Driven by the dream of becoming an international Urban Kiz artist, she moved to Paris in 2019 — the holy land of Urban Kiz.

Today, Ami travels the world alongside her partner Julien, giving Urban Kiz workshops internationally — and every month in Paris, she teaches her signature follower class: AMiKiZ for Follower.

Her classes go beyond choreography: she teaches technique, presence, and the art of expressing yourself beautifully as a follower in partner dancing.
